"Personal training has absolutely been the best thing I’ve ever done for myself, and I’m so lucky Greg has been there to teach, inspire, and encourage me. I began training with Greg at the Muscle Shack five years ago and a week doesn’t go by that I don’t have an occasion to think, “Well, I wouldn’t have been able to do that without the gym!” Now in my late 50’s, I am the strongest I’ve ever been, and I’m thrilled to discover that weakness is not an inherent part of aging. Greg knows exactly what I’m capable of doing and customizes my workouts so they are always very challenging, productive, safe, and “fun.” His enthusiasm for power lifting and strongman sports is super contagious and I really enjoy the crossover of training activities. He always has something new for me to learn and a new goal to accomplish. When I was nervous about getting started five years ago, Greg told me, “All you have to do is keep showing up.” Seriously, best advice ever."
